Concession Volunteers

Concessions are a big part of our band fundraising each year, helping us to fund many of our needs throughout the year so we love and appreciate our hard-working concession team! This is a busy, but fun place to volunteer and allows you to interact with visiting guests and welcome them to the Ridge with a large offering of food, snacks and beverages.

Concession Donations

Please sign up to help stock the concession stand and feed the band on Friday nights!  For every $10 of donations you send in, you will receive credit for one hour of volunteering.  Each family is required to volunteer 30 hours each season.  Thanks in advance for your support!

Feed the Band

Saturday Rehearsals and Competition MEALS

Hi Band Family!  Please help us feed the band on Saturdays this season!  The Booster will provide the main course, we just need help with sides and dessert!  For every $10 in donations you send in, you will receive credit for one hour of volunteering.

Please drop off your items when your student comes to band, if it doesn't require refridgeration, or bring to the baskeball concession stand by 4:30PM in time for dinner.  Thanks for your continued support!

Chaperones

Chaperones are responsible for overseeing marchers needs, safety and well-being during practice, games, competitions and trips. Whether it’s providing ice for a sore ankle, caring for over-heated marchers under the practice tents, distributing water during games, or supervising bus rides to and from events, our chaperones help keep our marchers happy and safe. Being a chaperone is a great way to get to know our marchers and see our program in action behind the scenes!

Roadie Crew

This hardworking crew assists our marching band with transporting band equipment - instruments, sound equipment, show props - you name it, if the band needs it, the roadie crew delivers it! Roadies work hard, but they also have fun doing it and rumor has it they prepare some of the best tailgate food around. No experience necessary to become a Roadie, just keep in mind it will require a little leg work, hustle and sweat but the payoff (in addition to the above-mentioned food) is that it often allows you a side-line view of our marchers in action during games!

Uniforms & Concert Attire

We want our band members to look as good as they sound out there on the field or stage during games, competitions and concerts - and they do thanks to our hard-working leader April Brown and her uniform team!

A lot of work is required to pull that off though - from sizing and fitting each student for their marching and concert wear, distributing uniforms, repairing and washing uniforms, to having them ready to go each and every event - it’s a big undertaking that requires a lot of help. No experience is needed, most of the work is easy to learn, but if you do have some experience in sewing/mending (button repair, hemming, etc.) April is always in need of that particular skill set too!
