3rd Annual Glow in the Knight 5K

Today the Cherokee County School System mandated that all March school and county events must be postponed until further notice.  

Therefore we must postpone this weekend's Glow in the Knight 5K since it takes place on a CCSD property and we are affiliated with a CCSD school program (the band). 

At this point we have been given no indication as to when we will be able to reschedule.  As soon as we are given the green light, a new date will be determined and you will be notified ASAP.  

All registrations will stand and everyone who registered to date is guaranteed a race shirt. 

Thank you for your support of our race.  We will see you down the road when we get this event back on the calendar!

Glow in the Knight 5k is a closed circuit race, USATF certified course and is a qualifier for the AJC Peachtree Road Race! Come RUN and GLOW with us! All proceeds go to the RR Knights Band program.

We have a Twilight Fun Run/Walk and a Team Challenge.

​Team Challenge:

Will you be the largest team or the fastest team? Or both? You must have a minimum of 5 runners for a team.  Fastest team times will be averaged and the team with the lowest average will be the winner.

Event Schedule:

​6:30pm - On Site Check In/Registration Opens

7:30pm - Twilight Fun Run/Walk Begins

8:30pm - 5K Race Begins

​You can sign up as a participant. You can be a phantom runner and just get the t-shirt.  You can even just make a donation of any amount.  100% of the proceeds from this event benefit the River Ridge Band Program.

Pre-Registration Fees (entries by 3/2/20):

  • Twilight Fun Run/Walk  $20.00  / 5K Race $30 / Phantom Runner (t-shirt only) $15

​Day of Event Fees:

  • Twilight Fun Run/Walk  $25.00 / 5K Race $35
